A ground-breaking seismic tremor struck Mexico's southern Oaxaca district on Tuesday, killing in any event five individuals and shaking structures several miles away.
The 7.4-size shake struck early in the day, as indicated by the U.S. Land Survey. Its focal point was off the Pacific coast around seven miles southwest of Santa María Zapotitlán, close to the sea shore resort of Huatuco.
